    Kherson National Technical University (KhNTU) – one of the best high schools in southern Ukraine, whose history dates back to 1957. The university has an IV level of accreditation. Under the directive of the Ministry of Education of the USSR, the Kherson Faculty of General Studies was transferred to the Odesa Technological Institute of Food Industry University, now known as the Mykolayiv V. O. Sukhomlynsky National University, in 1961. This decision led to the integration of the Kherson Faculty of General Studies into the academic structure of the Mykolayiv V. O. Sukhomlynsky National University. In 1997, the Kherson Industrial Institute established a postsecondary education program and on November 15, 2004, by the decree of the President of Ukraine No. 1403/2004, the Kherson Industrial Institute was granted national status for its postsecondary education program.

    The educational and scientific structure of Kherson National Technical University covers pre-university, undergraduate, and postgraduate educational levels. Pre-Education covers the Center for Undergraduate Studies, where students can visit courses and preparatory courses in technical specialties and physical and technical high school which covers 9-11 grades of high school. Undergraduate education covers the educational process at the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Technology and Design, Faculty of Cybernetics, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of International Economic Relations, 6 regional departments situated in Armiansk, Yalta, Feodosiya, Kakhovka, Henichesk, Kerch, and Economic and Technological College. Postgraduate education covers faculty training and retraining of specialists, postgraduate and doctoral studies. Kherson National Technical University trains specialists in 29 specialties in educational qualification levels of Bachelor, Specialist, and Master. Economic and Technological College prepares young professionals in 4 specialties.
