The Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is one of the most authoritative leading educational institutions in Ukraine and the only educational institution in our country subordinate to the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
History
The Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was established in 1995 based on the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
University Today
Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine trains highly qualified legal professionals for government institutions, law enforcement agencies, the market economy sector, and the academic field. Holding the highest (fourth) level of accreditation, the university offers state-recognized bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The university offers such educational programs as Law and International Law.
The members of the academic staff are leading scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, including one academician, four corresponding members of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, 20 doctors of sciences, over 60 candidates of sciences, associate professors, and assistants. With extensive teaching experience, scientists strive to pass on their knowledge to the younger generation. It was the path of practical implementation of the idea of creating a higher legal educational institution, where there is a real opportunity to acquire knowledge and experience through a new form of education based on the optimal combination of fundamental science and education.

Accommodation
Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine typically offers student accommodations located near the campus, with easy access to academic buildings and transport links. These dormitories are usually at least four to nine stories high and tend to use either corridor or block layouts, with rooms housing two to four students.
Rooms come fully furnished with beds, wardrobes, desks, chairs, linens, and access to reliable utilities like heating, hot water, and electricity. Most dorms also have high-speed internet, either included or available for a nominal fee. Shared facilities on each floor usually include kitchens equipped with stoves and refrigerators, sanitary facilities with showers, and communal study or lounge areas.
In addition, dormitories often feature laundry rooms, fitness areas or sports courts, and spaces for relaxation and interaction, helping foster a supportive student community. Security is typically provided 24/7, ensuring a safe living environment for all residents.
